WIX Forum Help Issues

Hey guys just reporting a bug where you currently access the settings or profile information after creating an account on the forum - looks like a javascript error which is a pest as its very hard to work around.

I've not been able to login for a week or so, and contacted Gina about it. Apparently she fixed it because here I am. If you've had trouble logging in recently try again and you'll be good to go.

I don't think pics or things on the forum affect my bandwidth here. I guess we'll find out.

I can't find it... the bell just shows me who posted. The screen I saw before was generic pics and screen names with a box to notify me if any of them posted. I couldn't find it right now.

Just found it Robind, thanks for mentioning it. The page is located by pressing the bell at the top right of the board. Obvious now that I see it there lol.

I did get to a page in WIX that showed everyone who has posted (I think, but maybe it was everyone on the Invision message board, I can't remember) with buttons below to be notified if they post. Every generic picture I saw - with screen name - was already set to 'notify' me. But your right, the board is quiet right now and easy to check around for posts you were not notified of. They're probably not on the page I saw. If I find it again I'll post it's location so you can check.

Glad you figured out how to attach your face to your profile, you look remarkably like our beloved Janeway you know ! lol.

I too would like a recent posts feature, it is not so bad at the moment because the forum is new and there are not so many posts to look through to see if there is anything new, but when there are a lot it will be a pain. I have found the emails are not so reliable, I think I have asked for email notifications on everything and yet I have still discovered posts here and there that I was not alerted to.

I finally figured out how to put a face in the little circle. Two translucent camera's in my edit my profile; one on the face and one in the bottom right corner of large frame on top. Each camera puts a picture in selected spot. Yay! I done did it.

I would like to see the latest posts, though, much like Invision used to show instead of getting an email each time someone posts.

Well Cool Beans then! Cause I'm working on Janeway and Seven faces for the entire series.

Actually I think you might be ok posting pictures. In the post you are talking about I think Gina was meaning that it is nice to have long chats about things, and suggests writing quite a lot in one post. The next post lower down is also by Gina and in that one she does suggest including pictures in posts and gives examples. Hopefully she will add a comment to clear it up properly.

OOPS! Just read in another thread that Gina prefers not to post pictures... I'm absolutely positive that pics suck up bandwidth - storage space - like nobody's business. Ok, I'll only post the most important pics.

I have only just found my way here. I have been posting on the tapatalk forum even though everyone was talking about the wix forum because I didnt notice the tab on the end of Gina’s new site which said ’forum’. I kept trying the message board button which is in the centre of the front page but that takes you to the tapatalk forum and so I thought this was still waiitng to be set up.

Ok, so I initially posted this thread under Millennium then realized it has nothing to do with Millennium and will probably be my spot to whine and bitch about things I can't figure out about this forum. Anybody else trying to learn this forum besides me? Yes?! Oh good! Then how to I put my picture in the little grey circle - upper left - to replace grey man?? Thank you, I'm ever so grateful.
